About the event
Our first in-person event!!!
**IMPORTANT: Due to COVID-19, this event will be limited to 6 attendees. Free tickets will be released shortly, which you will need to obtain to secure your place.**
After almost a year of hanging out with you all over Teams, we are very excited to be having our first in-person event!
We will be meeting in Falmouth, then walking to Gylly beach to eat lunch and hang out on the beach.
If you have any allergies, please let us know!
This event will be around lunch time, so feel free to bring a packed lunch, or there are several market stalls on the Moor offering vegan lunch options, including Roobarbs and Falfalafel.
We will have a vote amongst attendees for if we should buy food with the society budget and if so, which stall to get it from.
Exact details of meeting times and places will be sent to ticket holders.
The meeting place is easily accessible by bus, and is a short walk from Falmouth Town station. There are also several car parks near-by. The beach is about a 22 minute walk from the meeting place.
Be sure to bring:
- Hand sanitiser
- Face covering
- Suncream/sunhat
- Waterproofs
- Filled water bottle
- Food (+fork if needed)/ money for food
- Money/tickets/app for bus/train/parking
- Charged mobile phone
- Suitable shoes
Health and safety stuff:
- Follow all COVID-19 guidelines. (This includes not sharing food!)
- No swimming or entering the water (sorry).
- Avoid unfenced shear drops.
We're looking forward to meeting you! But also don't feel pressured to attend! We will continue to have our online events alongside our in-person events.
