We are taking a minibus to Camel Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Farm to learn about the farm, CSAs and to get our hands dirty with some work!

A schedule for the day will be provided nearer the event date.
Camel CSA will provide us with hot drinks, unlimited snacks and a vegan lunch! ??

Camel CSA is not-for-profit community-run local food scheme in Wadebridge. They grow their vegetables to organic principles, using no-dig methods. Their veg box scheme members get their veg, have an equal say in how the farm is organised and are invited to take help volunteer.

CSA schemes are all about promoting local food, reducing food miles, improving food security and connecting people with the land where food is grown. It’s a partnership between farmers, producers and members. The economic risks and benefits are shared between those who grow the food and the people who consume it. A CSA is committed to community values as it provides employment, education and recreation
