Murder is afoot in the sleepy town of Ravenswood Bluff; strange sightings and worrying whispers have become the talk of the town - not surprising considering some of the ghastly things that have happened to recent residents ...it can only be the work of a demon!

Your beloved storyteller has been killed and it's time for action. Band together with your fellow townsfolk to put a stop to these nightmarish going-ons! Combine your information and decipher truth from lie to root out and execute the demonic imp and their nefarious minions.

Careful though... not all is as it seems. Some of you aren't who you say you are...some of you are evil, hiding in plain sight. For you, the mission is simple: Stay alive, spread lies, keep killing and take over this town!

What's Blood on the Clocktower?

It's a social deduction game! Each player has a hidden role that gets different information.

If you're on the good team, you'll be trying to execute the demon. If you're the demon or one of their minions, you'll be trying to sow the seeds of confusion; surviving until the final night to take over Ravenswood Bluff once and for all.

Each night you'll close your eyes. Some of you will be awoken to receive new information. Each night the demon kills. When you awake to a new day, you'll share what you've learnt - discuss your findings together in groups or privately in whispers (be careful who you trust), before joining the Storyteller to nominate a townsfolk for execution. Keep on going until the forces of good or evil prevail!

Blood on the Clocktower aims to be an inclusive and accessible game, allowing anyone wanting to join in to do so in as complete a way as possible.

We will also have some fun and easy tabletop games to play if you are waiting for your turn or want to play something else afterwards. Free tea and coffee available.

New to Cornwall? Come and meet fellow international students and have a pasty on us at our chilled Welcome week meetup.

On Friday afternoon, the SU are hosting a friendly, welcoming space for international students share experiences, ask questions, and get to know Cornwall. A calm atmosphere — if the space gets busy, we’ll manage numbers to keep it comfortable.

Grab a drink, pick up a pencil, and let your creativity loose. Drink & Draw is a relaxed, informal evening for anyone who loves to doodle, sketch, or just give it a go and meet new people

Whether you're a seasoned artist or someone who hasn't drawn since school, this is your chance to unwind, get a little creative, and enjoy a drink or two along the way.

What is the key accessibility information?

This event is being held in the Fox Cafe, which is an open space. We don’t expect there to be loud noise but there will be low level noise including talking (hopefully some laughter) and music. There shouldn’t be crowds during the event as this is a sit-down evening. There will be no small spaces as the area is open. There are accessible entrances available as well as accessible toilets nearby. The nearest quiet space will be the multifaith chaplaincy or the student hub.

Who is running the event?

This event is being run by Bethan from The SU and will be hosted by Falmouth President, Max, and Vice President, Lottie. Our Meet the Team page includes information about every member of The SU team.

Where is the event taking place?

The event is taking place at Fox Cafe at Falmouth campus. This is in the main fox building as is best accessed by:

If coming from Falmouth Town, walk down the path adjacent to the train station (located in the Dell Car Park) turn left at the end of the footpath and then right into the university. You can access the building on the left side, with the accessible entrances further up the road.

If coming from Woodlane, walk down the hill through campus and it is the last building on the right handside at the bottom of the hill.

What should I expect?

At this event, there may be bright lights and people moving around. We have plans in place for if the space becomes too busy.

Please note the following:

There will be a member of staff present to support the event and answer your questions. There will be photography and videography at this event that will be used for SU marketing, please speak to the member of staff if you don’t want your photo taken.

This event is only for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus.

If you need a quiet space to get away from the event, the nearest space would be the Students’ Union, Multifaith Chaplaincy, Library Retreat Room.
