Eligibility
Applicants must be a current University of Exeter, Cornwall, or Falmouth University student, eligible to work in the UK, and able to undertake the role alongside their studies throughout the 2026/27 academic year (1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027).
About this role
This is an exciting, developmental opportunity for a current University of Exeter, Cornwall, or Falmouth University, student, within the Central team, that provides essential administration across a range of business-critical areas, supporting the day-to-day smooth-running of the SU, and its events and activities.
Want to get stuck in, build your skills and make a real difference to student life? As part of the Students’ Union team, you’ll get hands-on experience helping deliver some of our biggest events, from Elections to the SU Awards, while getting a behind-the-scenes look at how the SU works.
No two days will be the same. You’ll get involved in everything from events and admin to HR, governance and sustainability projects, working alongside staff, student leaders, Trustees and external partners along the way. It’s a great opportunity to gain practical experience, develop new skills and give your CV a boost, all while helping make the student experience even better.
If you have strong attention to detail, are organised, proactive and someone who loves making things happen, this could be the role for you.
This is a fixed term role, to 30 July 2027, working 14 hours per week. For this role the successful candidate will be primarily based at the Penryn campus, with additional work possible across our Falmouth and Truro campuses, and other community locations.
